Now for me rambling; these are just my opinions on why people choose their characters, they're my reasons too in a way.

Most people would pick Ronan coz he's so...I dunno - most people just pick him.But a lot don't know his tricks (coz they're rarely posted anywhere). "Malakas si Ronan" most people say in the Pinoy Community. Then again his skills look sorta...overkill and flashy XD
His nasal voice is a minus for me; it sounds a lot better in Korean.

Most people also pick Elesis coz she's easy to play as - most people don't know Ele's tricks. Some people might pick her coz she's pretty much a video game version of Shana. As a character she's your basic swordie that can do a lot more if you practiced a lot harder.
She sounds almost the same in English and Korean. Except her Korean voice was a BIT annoying XD

A lot of people would pick Arme but rarely use her due to her being hated so much by others. :/ plus it's a bit hard to trust Arme players coz they're usually the hacked ones. She's a mage - that could be one reason people pick her. She's cute...that's one too XD
Sounds a whole lot better in Korean in my opinion T.T ...Though her English is OKAY after you get used to it.

People rarely play as Lire - those who do are either good at running or you know a lot of tricks. But Lire players are labeled as cowards by the Pinoy community :/ She's an archer, people aren't really into that around here but okay. She's...hawt....I rest my case.
XD lol jk ; maybe because she has so many hidden tricks as a character which surprises a lot of melees coz they're rarely used.

Lass - either you're good, or you hack. For those who love the "dark" kind of character I guess. Or maybe coz he's such a shouta-boy in my opinion. XD Well I play him once in awhile coz I made him look adorable T.T...as a character he has fatal-killing issues(yknow...killing things in fatal), he's grab happy (that's a plus) and if you know some tricks ....he can fight dirty. Though his English voice is a minus for me...he sounds...DIRTY. XD ...he has an accent o.O

Ryan players are RARE. Nuff said. Don't know much about him, but most of the fan art /doujinshis with him in it makes him look like a monkey or something similar XD . As a character he has TOTALLY balance stats though. That may be a plus. Or maybe coz people like shape-shifting. Sounds the same in English and Korean...Deadpan.

Amy - people will most likely get her for her cuteness/moe-ness; then again people will also NOT play as her coz she's annoying to them XD . As a character she so far has the most mobility, her range is a slight issue and she actually hits hard. Amy has stances so that could be a plus...somehow. Her English voice is quite similar to her Korean so that's okay...coz it just sounds like a SLIGHTLY older version of Korea's

Jin - I don't see many videos of Jin but he's most likely gonna be played coz he's pretty much a walking fighting-game parody.
Maybe because he shares so many moves that other characters from fighting game use, that people will feel more familiar to Jin. Or maybe because he looks like a Dragon Ball character. Or maybe because he pretty much stole Elesis' colors. XD ...NEVER heard his English voice yet.

Sieghart - same reasons as Ronan I guess. Except Ronan = Flamboyant Light, Sieghart = Badass Dark. Plus his story is a plus (Gift of immortality!? )
Not much info on him yet but watching the videos of him makes me go "O___O"
Medyo...Mayabang siya though. XD
(Hopefully North America won't mess up his voice like they did with Ronan! )

It all comes down to ones own preferences...yes one of my reasons for choosing Amy cuz she's cute but i find her move set and play style unique I'm already over the coolness factor in character, it's like an armor set as long as it gives me the stats i need i don't care how stupid I look and yes anta is right i find that most people like Amy cuz she's so moe.

Planning to, at least, play all character types to average skill.

Will select and master a single class from every character as soon as their 4th jobs are released. And maybe all of Amy and Jin's classes, because they could be unpredictable enemies. And Sieghart's 2nd job.

I like lire for how she looks (long hair ftw) but i never liked her for being an archer

Lire was my *cough*first.......primary character.

Used to play with experienced people too. Then I grew tired eventually because I shy-ed away from my former teammates, and wanted to fight PVP alone. Sad thing is, people are scared of archers with above-average win rates, or they just plain hate archers.

Then came AR. Bliss. Archer+Melee-like piloting and skill setup. Fight00rz!
